Personal

1. What do you like to do for fun?

Cade: I spend essentially all of my free time learning or planning in some way or other, though occasionally if there’s a good movie or show, I’ll binge that instead. Recently I’ve started to read books, which is honestly not something I’ve had the attention span for until now.

2. How would you describe yourself politically?

C: I would consider myself a socially-libertarian welfare capitalist

3. Why did you agree to join your ticket?

C: It was an instant yes because I like Ricca, I think we would make a strong ticket, and I’ve been interested in running for president or vice president. Though Ricca is ideologically far to my left, I believe he’d be a much more moderate president.

4. What is your running mate’s best quality?

C: Ricca is an open minded person with whom you can reason. I consider that most important.

Political

1. What would be your primary focus as Vice President?

C: My primary focus as Vice President would be to put the country back on the path to innovation, growth, and security. We’ll attain this by significantly reducing the deficit, solving affordability crises in healthcare/housing/education, and investing in basic infrastructure and research like we did decades ago. The U.S. needs policies that embolden creative destruction, accelerate technological progress, promote the public welfare, and create a more competitive business environment.

2. Who is your favorite VC Vice President and why?

C: My favorite VC Vice President is James. I like James as a person, and I probably agree with him on more than I do with any other Vice President (though that’s not to say I agree with him on everything).

3. What is the biggest differing of opinion with your running mate?

C: I think we probably disagree most strongly on how involved the US should be in overseas affairs (as well as the nature and character of past interventions), and to what extent the state should be involved in the economy.

4. If you had to summarize what your campaign stands for in one word, what would that be?

C: Progress.
