About the Congressman:
John Hersey is a Libertarian from Guam who currently serves as a Representative in the House. He was previously a member of the Republican and Democratic parties as well as the Democratic Nominee for President in the July election cycle.
Political
1. What would be your first priority as President?
Hersey: Deal with the riots across the country and create calm.
2. What are your views on healthcare?
H: I believe in Healthcare for all using a government option but not forcing people out of their Private Coverage who do not want to lost it.
3. How would you summarize your approach to social issues such as LGBTQ rights, abortion and capital punishment?
H: I am a strong supporter of the LBGTQ community as all Americans must be treated equal and not forgotten. I am a strong Pro-Life as all children deserve a right to live. I am in favor of Capital Punishment for the most evil and hideous crimes.
4. What is your foreign policy philosophy?
H: America and her allies but be protected no matter what. China is the new evil empire trying to take over the world and will be pushed back. I am one who will protect our position in the world as the most powerful country but will not slaughter innocents and my own solders. As such i would move to end the wars we are fighting now and cede power to declare war back to Congress.
5. What do you view as a political issue that isn’t discussed enough?
H: The neglect of the American Territories.
6. If you had to summarize what your campaign stands for in one word, what would that be?
H: Rebirth.
Personal
1. Why do you think you should be President?
H: I have given my server to VC for 7 months and have watched every single President during their term. I know how to legislate and i can make compromise and peace between the Parties. I am undyingly loyal to the United States of America. I want to serve my part.
2. How would you describe yourself politically?
H: Conservative on some parts and liberal on others.
3. What do you like to do for fun?
H: I spend most of my time with my Girlfriend. enjoy reading and learning about History i love doing VC related things. I love cartography and vexiolgy too.
4. What is your favorite book?
H: Anything Star Wars.
5. What is your go-to movie or TV series?
H: I love watching the TV Show Dead like Me
