About the Secretary:

Pluribus is a Democrat from Indiana, representing the Hoosier state in Virtual Congress. He currently serves as Secretary of State in the Leah Administration, having previously held various high level positions from Secretary of Transportation to White House Chief of Staff and Speaker of the House.

Political

1. What would be your primary focus as Vice President?

Pluribus: If I become Vice President of the United States my primary focus will be foreign policy mainly or whatever the President would need me to do.

2. Who is your favorite VC Vice President and why?

P: Gosh that’s a tough one, we’ve had many good and qualified people in the Vice Presidency on VC. But my favorite Vice President would have to be Hull. He worked hard in the first Wilson administration on the Constitutional Convention and the Coronavirus Task Force, which I was on as Secretary of State then. And he had to become President after his President resigned which from what I’ve gathered can be quite a humbling experience.

3. What is the biggest differing of opinion with your running mate?

P: While me and the Vice President have very different views on the issues, the biggest one would be abortion as he is pro life and I am pro choice. But having known Jacob for a long time, I know he is willing to listen to all his advisers before acting on something. This goes back to when he and I were Party leaders as well.

4. If you had to summarize what your campaign stands for in one word, what would that be?

P: Perseverance.

Personal

1. What do you like to do for fun?

P: Besides Virtual Congress, I like to read and watch YouTube. Documentaries and history videos. Without covid, I like to hang out with my friends at school and monitor the 2020 Presidential election as well.

2. How would you describe yourself politically?

P: Tbh I usually just watch and monitor politics for the sport of it, but I would describe myself as a Social Democrat.

3. Why did you agree to join your ticket?

P: I admired Jacob’s resolve to get back up after the [devastating] odds last time. He offered last time and I said no, and when he asked me again I was blunt and said ” I [didn’t] particularly like your chances this time around, and I prefer to be on a ticket I think can win and that I have that drive and enthusiasm for.” And then I accepted.

4. What is your running mate’s best quality?

P: Jacob’s best quality is perseverance. Willing to get right back up and get to work. No matter the obstacles.
