PBN draws record ratings for election coverage

Elections always draw the attention of Virtual Congress and the April 2020 cycle was poised to be the most compelling yet, with a close race for the White House as well as the first senatorial races ever. On election night, all eyes were on news station PBN, who streamed live election coverage for 4 and a half hours, keeping viewers entertained with graphics, key race alerts and interviews with candidates and various elected officials.

Election Night in America was hosted by lead anchors Wilson and Schneider, two Republicans. Mister Wilson is best known for being a former President, having served during the month of February, as well as being a Senator representing the third district. Mister Schneider is a more recent addition to the server, currently being a Representative in the House. Over the course of the day, Virtual Congress watched mesmerized as election results came in, presented in sleek graphics, including pie charts and bar charts. Interspersing the data were interviews with prominent figures on the server as well as in the election, including Vice President Helvin, Democratic Nominee Gabe McKenna, Senator Gideon, Party Leader Rockefeller and Speaker Pro Tempore Hull.

At approximately 9:30pm EST, the last results were called by Wilson and Schneider, declaring a Senate majority for the Democratic Party as well as electing Democrat Gabe McKenna as the next President of the United States. In the span of a few hours, the future of the server and the nation was decided, at least until the next election. PBN has indicated that it will be broadcasting live coverage of future elections, and with the success of the April 2020 coverage, it no surprise to see their endeavors continue.
